01

What the site collects

Most of fndrs.io can be read without giving us anything. The site collects information only when you send it through a form.

The contact form asks for your name, email address, company, phone number, which path you are on, and your message. The exit score form asks for your name, email address, company, a revenue range, and an exit timeline. The optional fields are marked as optional and can be left blank.

Both forms are processed by Netlify Forms, the form service of the company that hosts the site. A submission travels from your browser to that service and is delivered to the FNDRS team members who read it.

Like every website, the site's hosting and content delivery providers keep standard technical logs in order to serve pages and media: the address a request comes from, the page requested, the browser, and the time. We use those logs only to keep the site running.

02

How we use it

We use what you send us to reply, to run the exit score, and to prepare for a conversation with you. A founder at FNDRS reads every note.

We do not sell your information, and we do not rent or trade it. We share it only with the service providers that run the site and our email, with the FNDRS team members who handle your request, and where the law requires it.

If you become a client, the engagement agreement and, for advisory clients, the adviser's own privacy notice govern how the information in that relationship is handled.

03

Analytics

The site does not run a third-party analytics or advertising service at this time. If one is added, this section will name the service, what it records, and how to opt out.

04

Cookies and local storage

The site sets no tracking cookies of its own. The one thing it stores in your browser is your light or dark theme preference, kept in local storage under the name fndrs-theme so the choice survives your next visit. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.

Images and video are served from a content delivery network. Third-party services the site links to, including the FNDRS platform, set their own cookies under their own notices.

05

The FNDRS platform

The valuation, the roadmap, and the scorecard run in the FNDRS platform, a separate application at platform.fndrs.io with its own terms and privacy notice. Information you enter there is handled under that notice, not this one.

06

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact page and say what you would like done. We answer within a reasonable time and may ask you to confirm your identity first.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information under local law. Nothing in this notice limits them.

07

How long we keep it

We keep form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to you and to keep a record of the conversation, and we delete or anonymize them when they are no longer needed. Records that belong to a client engagement are kept for the period the engagement agreement and applicable law require.

08

Children

The site is written for business owners and their advisors. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen.

09

Changes to this notice

When this notice changes, the new version is posted here with a new date at the top. Material changes are called out on this page for a period after they take effect.

General information, not advice. Nothing on this page is legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Talk to your own attorney, CPA, and tax advisor before you act on it.

No promised outcome. FNDRS does not guarantee that a sale will happen, or its price, terms, or timing. Past transactions do not predict the result of any other sale.

About the deals. The transactions described include engagements advised by members of the FNDRS M&A team, some of them at prior firms. Details are anonymized. Each multiple and outcome belongs to that transaction and says nothing about the result for any other business.
