Build
Expand enterprise value before going to market
Revenue is one line on a buyer's sheet. Build is the work of raising the others: clean numbers, a business that runs without you, revenue you can count on, a team that holds, and a file that survives diligence. In the order buyers reward, and re-scored as it lands.
Five locks between you and the exit
The business arrives at sea level. The next stretch is uphill and there is no ramp. Each gate is impassable without a lock.
Each lock is one of the six pillars of value, and the water in it is a handful of the FNDRS Elements® that pillar is scored on. The sixth pillar, owner outcomes, is what waits past the last gate.
The value bridge
A valuation is not one number that grows. It is a stack of slices, and each slice comes from a problem that was fixed. The bridge shows five of the largest: clean books, recurring revenue, customer spread, a business that runs without its owner, and management depth.
Owner dependence
Every customer, hire, approval, and fire drill runs through you. That is the shape of most founder-led businesses, and it is the shape buyers discount hardest. Scaling is the work of re-parenting those lines under leads the buyer keeps.
Build with FNDRS
Nick walks through where the work starts: a measurement of where the business stands today, where you want it to go and by when, and the gaps between the two, including the ones only a buyer would find.
01 · MEASURE
Revenue and profit are a start, not every number a plan to be acquired needs. The first step measures the business across several areas, as it stands today.
02 · ASSESS
Where you want to go, in money and in time, sets the target. The gap assessment shows the gaps you know and the ones that only show up in front of a buyer.
03 · MAP
With the business valued as it is today, the roadmap puts the work in order, by time and in sequence, to close the gap one exit element at a time.
The six pillars
Every buyer, lender, and diligence team reads a company on the same six things. The 36 FNDRS Elements® roll up into them, and the exit-readiness score gives each one a mark from zero to one hundred.
The advisory process
Your elements arrive as they are: unscored, some flagged deficient. Each one is read alone, with FNDRS experience on one side and the FNDRS process on the other, and comes out in its true color. Then the passage widens, because the system behind it has been checked.
Every element queues for the passage. Nothing is skipped, and nothing is scored yet.
Each element is read alone, against what buyers pay for rather than against the pitch.
The deficient elements come out resilient: a fix, an owner, and a date for each.
The passage stays open and widens. Volume flows through a system that has been checked.

The blueprint
Your Blueprint to a Profitable Business Exit
You built your business to be free, and somewhere along the way it became the thing holding you in place. Scale, Exit, and Thrive is Nick's playbook for getting out of that trap. It walks through the three things every owner needs before a sale: the emotional readiness to let go, a business that runs and earns without you, and a clear understanding of how the deal itself works.
Fifteen minutes, six pillars, and the three gaps that set your multiple.
