How it is scored

Six report cards, one number

Each pillar is a report card from 0 to 100, read from the elements beneath it against what a sophisticated buyer expects at close. Fifty is the neutral pivot: above it a pillar adds to your standing, below it a buyer will price the gap. The exit-readiness score is the six read together.

What the six look like when they come back

Six report cards, then the number they make. The dashed marks are the targets the plan sets; the distance between is the value gap, pillar by pillar.

What you get

Three things you can act on the same week

The score reports the three biggest gaps first. Think of them as three holes in a bucket: patch one and the level climbs, patch all three and it holds where a buyer can see it.

Leak. Value drains through named holes. Cc, customer concentration. Od, owner dependence. Cf, financials a buyer cannot verify.

01

The score

Exit readiness from 0 to 100, with each pillar's report card behind it, so you can see which of the six is holding the number down.

02

A preliminary range

A first read on what the business might be worth today, from the platform's valuation. Indicative, pre-tax, and a starting point for the real valuation.

03

Your three biggest gaps

Written up in the vocabulary of the table: which elements, why a buyer cares, and what closing each one looks like.

Then what

The score is the first assay, not the last

Every element in the score is one of the FNDRS Elements®. If the number is not where you want it, the process works the gaps in order: build, scale, sell, secure. If it is, the sell-side team can talk about timing.

What the gaps are worth

Each gap the score finds is a slice of the exit price

The score reports the three biggest gaps first because each one is a bar on the bridge between today's value and the value at exit. Close them in order and the slices stack. The dollar figures come from the FNDRS engine, never from the chart.

Questions

Before you start

Yes. It is the first step of every FNDRS engagement and it costs nothing. There is no obligation and no pitch at the end of it.

It is a readiness score with a preliminary range alongside it. The full valuation, investor-grade and evidence-based, runs in the FNDRS platform and takes about ten minutes more.

About fifteen minutes if you have last year's numbers and your customer list nearby. You can stop and come back.

They stay with FNDRS, and we never sell them. Your numbers are used to score the business and for nothing else.

You do. With a guided assessment, so does the member of the customer success team who walks you through it.

Take the score anyway. The elements apply at every size; the advisory work is built for owners of $3M to $30M businesses, and the score tells you how far you are from that range.
