The FNDRS Elements®Element 12Multiple
Forecasts that come true; a pipeline a buyer can underwrite.
Whiteboard session
Ashley works through this element as in an FNDRS workshop: what a buyer is really asking, how the score moves, and the first thing to fix.

§1 Definition
Forecasts that come true; a pipeline a buyer can underwrite.
Predictability is whether your forecasts come true. It means a pipeline you can underwrite, a budget that lands within a few percent, and a business whose next twelve months you can describe with confidence. Buyers pay a premium for it because it lowers their risk of being wrong about the future.
A software company that can show 70% of next year’s revenue already under contract in December is highly predictable. A project-based engineering firm that cannot say what Q3 looks like is not, even if it has grown every year.
Use cases
Building a twelve-month rolling forecast and tracking how accurate it was, creating a weighted pipeline your sales team maintains, and setting budgets that leaders own.
The multiple family
Qualities that raise the price a buyer will pay for each dollar of earnings. Multiple elements are where most of the value gap closes.
The multiple. What raises the multiple: clean books, predictability, management depth, a sales engine, proprietary IP, brand, and strategic fit.
Meet the family§2 Measurement
Forecast accuracy over the past eight quarters and the share of next-year revenue already visible in contract or pipeline.
How the scale reads
§3 Pathway
Every element feeds a family, and every family feeds an outcome. The chain below is the route this element's score takes into the number a buyer pays.
§4 Position
8 elements share the family. Read them together: a buyer prices them as a group.
§5 Compounds
This element is not part of a named compound. It is priced on its own, through the family it belongs to.
§6 In the FNDRS journey
The assay scores it. The process, the pillars, and the platform move it. Table 2 lists every place this element is on the agenda.

§7 In the valuation
Tracked Indirect
FNDRS tracks the signals behind this element and reports on them. The element itself does not move the FNDRS number; where it is report-only it never touches the price.
What FNDRS reads
Profit stability and sales repeatability stand in as proxies. Forecast accuracy itself is not yet measured.
Tracked through proxies; a candidate for a future intake question.
How the table meets the numberThe exit score is the first assay: fifteen minutes, six pillars, and a first read on the elements that matter most.
